spado architects won the invited, one-stage realization competition.

The object of the competition was to obtain development proposals for a subsidized multi-storey residential building in Maria Saal with approx. 30 residential units.

EXCERPT FROM THE JURY REPORT:

“The project impresses with its homogeneous design approach from the building structure to the floor plan. The positioning of the buildings allows both qualitative views of the cathedral as well as a functionally high-quality and coherent, pedestrian connection to the neighboring properties.The allocation of private green areas to the apartments is successful, but without preventing the possibility of creating high-quality semi-public areas."
