Description

From a functional point of view, staircases serve to connect two or more storeys vertically. They are objects and spatial bodies to be detailed independently. The architectural element of the staircase goes beyond its pure access function. The staircase is an element of tension between two levels and a place of longing to reach the light or a higher level.
